Nearly One Million HDB Households to Receive U-Save and S&CC Rebates This July

Close to one million Singaporean households living in HDB flats will benefit from rebates on their utility and conservancy charges this July. The Ministry of Finance (MOF) announced on June 30 that eligible households will receive both U-Save and Service & Conservancy Charges (S&CC) rebates as part of the permanent GST Voucher (GSTV) scheme and the enhanced Assurance Package.

Rebate amounts vary depending on the type of HDB flat. For instance, residents in one- or two-room flats can expect to receive about $190 worth of U-Save rebates along with one month’s waiver of S&CC fees.

This round of rebates marks the second quarterly payout for the Financial Year 2026, aimed at helping Singaporean households manage rising living costs.

Households do not need to apply or take any action, as the rebates will be automatically credited to their utility accounts by SP Services and their town councils for S&CC rebates.

However, households where members own more than one property or where there is no Singaporean flat owner or occupier will not qualify for these rebates.

Residents can verify their eligibility for S&CC rebates by logging into My HDBPage via Singpass. For any questions, they can reach out to their respective town councils.

MOF also cautions the public to remain vigilant against scams, reminding that government officials will never request money transfers or personal banking information over the phone. If in doubt, individuals are encouraged to contact the 24/7 ScamShield Helpline at 1799 for assistance.
