The P7 achieves a remarkably low drag coefficient of 0.201Cd, helping the car deliver efficient, quiet and stable performance on the road.

A Clean, Modern Cabin Built Around Comfort and Technology

Step inside and you’ll find the interior defined by minimalism. Buttons are kept to an absolute minimum, with the majority of controls accessible through a wide central touchscreen. A separate, slim driver’s display remains in place for essential information — a welcome feature for those who prefer having data directly in front of them.

The cabin feels generously sized, helped by the smart seat and roofline configuration that maximises head and legroom. Four adults can ride in comfort, and the overall space is enhanced by soft-touch materials, premium upholstery and a warm, modern colour palette. Rear passengers also benefit from their own touchscreen panel, adding a layer of convenience usually found in higher-end EV models.

A high-quality heads-up display further elevates the driving experience by projecting directions and essential information directly into the driver’s line of sight, reducing distraction and improving situational awareness.

Advanced Driving Experience Highlighted by Xpeng’s Intelligent Systems

During the test drive, the real highlight was not simply the handling of the P7 — but how much of the driving the car was able to take over. Xpeng’s NGP (Navigation Guided Pilot) system, powered by the brand’s advanced autonomous driving technology, can manage navigation, lane changes, traffic flow and turns with minimal input from the driver.

Although not yet approved for use in Singapore, the system shows the level of sophistication Xpeng is aiming for. On highways and city roads alike, the P7 demonstrated the ability to react smoothly to traffic conditions, maintain safe distances and navigate complex situations reliably.

When taking control manually, the P7 still offers an engaging drive. The steering feels light yet precise, braking is strong thanks to Brembo components, and the chassis provides reassuring stability. The rear-wheel drive version delivers more than enough punch, with power figures (362bhp and 465Nm) that enable confident overtaking and effortless acceleration.

Under the skin, the P7 benefits from technologies typically found in more premium models, including aluminium die-cast chassis sections, double-wishbone front suspension, multi-link rear suspension and available dual-chamber air suspension.

What Singapore Drivers Can Expect

While full details for the Singapore market have not yet been released, the next-generation Xpeng P7 is expected to be showcased at the Singapore Motor Show in 2026. It will also be the first sedan from the tech-driven manufacturer to be offered here, signalling Xpeng’s growing commitment to the local EV landscape.
