The latest 2026 Michelin Bib Gourmand list has been released, with 11 establishments in Singapore making the cut.
This year, there are nine new entries along with two eateries that have been promoted from the Michelin Selected category.
In total, there are now 89 Bib Gourmand addresses across Singapore, as disclosed by the Michelin Guide Singapore on July 17.
While not as prestigious as a Michelin star, the Bib Gourmand rating is given to restaurants and street food stalls that offer high-quality dining experiences in Singapore for under $45.
Among the establishments moving up from the Selected category are Boon Tong Kee's original branch at Balestier Road and Ji Ji Noodle House.
Boon Tong Kee's Balestier Road outlet, in operation since 1983, is renowned for its signature boiled chicken, while Ji Ji Noodle House at Hong Lim Market & Food Centre is famous for its wanton noodles.
Among the nine new additions to the list is Kotuwa, a spot specializing in Sri Lankan cuisine led by the chef-owner of the two-Michelin-starred Cloudstreet, Rishi Naleendra.
Other newcomers include Jungle at Ann Siang Hill offering modern Thai dishes, and Kitchenmen Nasi Lemak at CT Hub serving Malaysian-style nasi lemak.
For street food enthusiasts, Lao Fu Zi Fried Kway Teow, Nam Sing Hokkien Fried Mee, and To-Ricos Kway Chap at Old Airport Road Food Centre have made the list.
Furthermore, Wok Hei Hor Fun at Redhill Food Centre, serving wok-prepared dishes for over three decades, has also been included.
The selection also features comforting dishes from Song Kee Teochew Fish Porridge at Newton Food Centre and Sin Heng Claypot Bak Koot Teh in Joo Chiat.
Notably absent this year are Hjh Maimunah (Jalan Pisang), Shi Hui Yuan, and Fool, with the latter two permanently closed.
Gwendal Poullennec, the international director of the Michelin Guide, praised Singapore's commitment to preserving its hawker culture amidst a changing culinary scene.
The full announcement of the Michelin Guide is set for July 24, following the release of the 2026 Michelin Bib Gourmand List.
